All i can say is. The Text is awful. Try not to use such low opacity for the text.
I didn't give any importance to the text, I only focused on the background and render. I don't remember using low opacity for the text though. I think it was just color burn or something.
Anyway, I'll try to make the text better on the next sig.

Make the Text VISIBLE. And put the text next to the render, so it can focus people on the main attraction.

Much better. The background needs more work. It's a little too plain.
Try putting the text somewhere NEAR the render. So that it attracts the main attraction. Look at where i put m Haseo Text in my sig as a reference.
EDIT: Just a piece of note. It'd be better if you'd put the White text with black border instead of the reverse, like how you did in that 2nd sig.

That will do. As long as it fits.
And, try not to put brushes over the render, it looks ugly.
Try getting some C4D's to mix and blend instead. It'll look nicer.

Put the text in the middle of the left side of the sig
This one is pretty good. The back ground needs to be more elaborated.
Overall, very good.
EDIT: Wadamathafacka, messed up my color tags

Not half bad.
The motion effect is a too stretched. Try to make it shorter.
Over all, nice.

Another text tutorial.
EDIT: I might re-do this one; it doesn't look as good as I expected.
